Frequently Asked Questions

How do you extend the rental period?

Once your rental period is coming to an end, you will receive an email titled as 'Your Solis Go is About to Expire'. In this email, you may extend your rental period for an additional 24-hours by selecting 'Extend Your Service'. You may also extend your service via the Data Plan page by clicking 'Add 24 hours'.

For how long will the Solis Go battery last?

The Solis Go battery has a 45-50 hour life once it's fully charged. Battery life may vary depending on your usage. Please note, if you decide to stream or download, this may reduce your device's battery life.

Is there any throttling policy with Solis Go?

Our Solis Go data plans include a 'Fair Usage Policy'. For users consuming the 1GB Daypass, the Fair Usage policy will be enabled after consuming 1GB.

Our goal at Simo is to provide high-speed internet access to our entire community of users, anywhere and anytime! To ensure we optimize our data network to provide the best speeds to the greatest number of customers worldwide, we practice an industry standard Fair Use Policy, consistent with most mobile carrier and broadband company policies for mobile data usage. Because our network is a limited resource, customers who take a disproportionately high amount of data may experience reduced network speeds, based on location and service, so that we protect Fair Usage for all. To ensure you have uninterrupted high-speed data, we strongly recommend disabling apps and features that consume data in the background, including cloud syncing, large system updates, auto-backups, auto-app updates, and avoid extended use of video streaming, gaming and other online activities that consume large amounts of data.

How far ahead of the rental period can I reserve Solis Go?

You can currently make a reservation no more than 7 days before the rental period begins.
